Ali Al Lawati, E.I.T. - Project Engineer
Ali grew up in Muscat, Oman. He got a scholarship to study Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, followed by a one-year Master’s program. Through his Master’s year, he won the AEI (Architectural Engineering Institute) 2020 first-place award of the building envelope challenge with is team Goliath. They also won the second-place award in the structural discipline. In addition, Ali won the NMA (National Masonry Association) 2020 scholarship with a different team for the best timber & masonry building design. He fell in love with structural design early on. He is looking to fulfill his passion by practicing his skills and learning from his environment to design safe and comfortable buildings.
